Nuada’s performances are rapturously received whether they are at folk clubs, festivals, medieval events or private/corporate functions.
Pete Courtney
Website - www.petecourtney.com
The Irish media adopted this man to their hearts wholesale when he released “one of these kids”, the pure organic/sonic nature and beauty of awareness in his lyrics soothed their souls. He was the first to perform live on Ruth Scott’s show on 2FM, Galway Bay FM’s John Richards included a live recording for one of his annual “undercurrents ” album, Dave Fanning has played him often, aside from being on the 2FM play list, Leagues has featured Pete’s video for “Fingers and Face” when the great No Disco was televised, and 98FM TodayFM and 104FM and all regional stations play his album regularly. More importantly Pete has always made himself available to independent radio above the majors, naturally he would say.
Pete’s emphasis within music has always been to create and perform honestly and naturally. One can expect some self-effacing stories as well as many tricks and sonic gadgets that other folk would not consider employing into music. Sometimes guest appearance’s from the most evolved session musicians based in Ireland join in with him to enhance the experience of his shows.
An innovative sonic singer/songwriter that massages your heart and transforms the ordinary into something naturally beautiful!
“The most amiable man in Irish music” – Cat Hughes Dublin Event Guide
“A live one to remember, a voice and guitar playing prowess up there with the best” – John Meagher Irish Independent
“Perfect for thoughtful wandering and traveling light” – Kim Porcelli Hot Press
Rachel Austin
Website - www.rachelaustinmusic.com
Rachel’s music was born in Virginia and has taken her around the United Kingdom, Ireland, France and the USA. Because of her musical friendships in these places — including her current hometown of Belfast, Northern Ireland — she’s been blessed with a rotating band of international musicians. This gives her live concerts a different flavour each time she performs.
As for influences, the first were probably the constant flowing of Naked Creek outside her open window, the hush of summer nights gazing at stars, the transcendence of church worship. She is currently inspired by David Bazan, Regina Spektor, Wovenhand, and her friend, Devon Sproule.
'Austin's blissful voice soaring like an earth angel and a sense of liberation that recalls the late Tim Buckley. Glorious stuff.' - Hot Press

Lace Weeper are a Hard Rock band from Dublin, Ireland, they counter driving hard rock rhythms with mellow acoustics, and a keen sense of melody. The idea for the project was started in March 2010 by guitarist Matt Hayward and vocalist Sebastian Florek. Matt had previously fronted various Hard Rock bands as a vocalist, and had worked with artists such as Nick Pollock (My Sister's Machine/Tanks Of Zen/Soulbender), Edie Brickell and Kevin Wood (Malfunkshun). His switch to full time guitar and harmonies gave room to Sebastian, who was looking to move on from previous projects. Hailing from Poland, Sebastian exhibits a highly diverse and powerful vocal range, which Hayward first heard while in a recording studio in Wicklow, Ireland. The duo's mutual position of being without a band and overwhelming passion to make music, lead to creating something original and heartfelt. Upon formation, Lace Weeper released a demo, simply titled ''The Lace Weeper Demo'' which featured one original track, backed with a cover of Black Sabbath's 'Hole In The Sky'.
From March to August, Matt and Sebastian wrote material while auditioning bassists and drummers, in September they settled on Oswaldo Andres on bass and in December Paul Caldwell on drums, thus concreting a solid rhythm section. Two like minded musicians who added more dynamics and completed the sound that was intended.
From October-November the newly formed band entered the studio to record their debut E.P, 6 tracks which showcased the band's diversity and musicianship. Gavan Murray (Jaded Sun) lent his skills on drums for the recording and filled in for the band until Paul officially joined. The EP was released in early 2011.
Utilizing heavy guitar based grooves and quirky acoustic melodies, embellished by bluesy solos, a pounding rhythm section and deeply metaphoric & poetic lyrics, Weeper are a band many have been waiting for.
